HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC
Monday - Friday, some Saturdays as needed
8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm
22.00 - $28.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and light repairs on heavy equipment, including forklifts, excavators, and skid steers.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently and safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop environment.
- Monitor and report inventory levels for tools, parts, and supplies.
- Greet customers professionally and assist with inquiries regarding equipment, services, and products.
- Provide tailored recommendations based on customer needs and requirements.
- Address customer complaints promptly and escalate issues to management as needed.
- Operate and demonstrate heavy equipment to potential customers, highlighting features, benefits, and proper use.
- Address customer questions during demonstrations and provide necessary follow-up.
- Collaborate with the sales team to showcase the value and capabilities of equipment to support sales efforts.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and customer interactions.
- Coordinate equipment demonstrations and deliveries with the sales and operations teams.
