HLU OPERATOR
Monday – Friday
5 : 45 am – 2 : 15 pm mandatory overtime and weekends as needed
15.00 per hour
The HLU Operator prepares laminates and operates equipment and materials associated with the hand layup area process.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- An HLU Operator loads reinforcing medium and resin or premix charges of prescribed amounts onto molding equipment and carries out prescribed molding cycles.
- Makes minor adjustments to equipment, charge and / or cycle to obtain a quality product.
- Unloads the part from the HLU table / mold, ensuring the part meets quality standards.
- Counts, measures, mixes, and weighs accurately of resins and catalysts.
- Maintains quality, safety, and service-oriented individuals.
- Preparation of molding equipment and materials for daily operations.
- Prepares reinforcing medium and resin for HLU.
- Understand mixes and material identification.
- Performs proper housekeeping within his / her designated area daily.
- Proper and safe handling of power tools (worm drive saw, drill mixer) when needed.
