MACHINE OPERATOR
Monday–Friday
5:00 am – 3:30 pm, Saturdays as needed
$17.00 per hour
JOB SUMMARY
Operate machinery safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment to process rubber and rubber-related materials into molded products and preform blanks. Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and production goals.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Operate machinery including injection/compression presses, hoists, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lift tables.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, scales, and rulers to ensure product quality.
- Follow standard operating procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
- Accurately enter data into the MRP system.
- Transport materials and maintain product identification/traceability.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Support preventative maintenance and participate in safety and quality audits.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 0–3 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and lift/push up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable working around machinery and industrial chemicals with PPE.
- Basic computer, math, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Eligible for forklift certification.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to support health, safety, and environmental policies.
