MAINTENANCE MECHANIC
Rotating shift
6 : 00 am - 6 : 00 pm
20.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Repair, clean, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
- Observe mechanical devices in operation, identifying issues by listening for irregular sounds and inspecting components.
- Examine parts for defects and wear, assessing dimensional changes.
- Adjust and calibrate functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Test machinery performance after adjustments or repairs.
- Operate metalworking tools, including lathes, drill presses, and grinders, to fabricate and repair parts.
- Initiate purchase orders for necessary parts and equipment.
- Utilize troubleshooting techniques to determine root causes and implement solutions.
- Document repair actions daily.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to maintain plant equipment and property.
