METAL PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR
Monday - Thursday
6:30 am - 4:30 pm
Friday
6:30 am - 12:00 pm
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Use equipment such as press brakes and rollers to form and shape various thicknesses of plate.
- Operator will use skills to determine best way to form and shape plate products per drawings.
- Accurately use a tape measure and other measuring tools (tri-square, framing square, etc).
- Operate press brake (350 T/100 T) to bend and form various thickness and grades of metal.
- Use plate rollers to form cylinders and/or cones.
- Inspect and QC formed material for accuracy.
- Able to work independently without supervision.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Adhere to safety protocols.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to look at and understand blueprints.
- Experience with different grades of material, mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Knowledge in plate forming techniques.
- Understanding of quality control.
- Forklift experience a plus, but training provided.
