Hours :
Workday 6am to 4pm
Compensation for Lineman
$15.00 / hr-$30.00 / hr
Duties include :
Candidate will be working outdoors, building and maintain non-energized power structures from the ground up by digging holes for poles with a digger derrick truck, pulling wire, working out of an aerial bucket truck, string wire, running conduit for a substation, digging trenches or climbing poles to repair or maintain underground and overhead electrical cables and assisting job foreman where needed.
Qualifications / Skills :
- Using Hand Tools and Small Power Tools
- Running Cable and Conduit
- Follow Procedures and Safety Precautions Regarding Electrical Safety
- Ability to Follow Oral and Written Instructions
Requirements :
- Valid Driver’s License with Clean Driving Record (Must Pass MVR)
- Reliable Transportation
- 2yrs Minimum in Construction or Electrical Experience
- Steel-Toe Boots, Long Sleeves
- Good Verbal Communication Skills
- CDL a plus but not required
Physical Demands / Work Environment
- Work Performed Outside Year Round
- Work Sites are located around Oakman, Northport, and Jasper AL
