The Estimator position is responsible for developing accurate and timely cost estimates and schedules for commercial, institutional, and industrial projects, both public and private. Responsibilities
- Reviews project plans, requirements, and specifications to develop a comprehensive understanding of the project, scope of work, and labor and equipment costs.
- To support subcontractor solicitations and bid evaluations, prepares check estimates and formulates pro-forma construction sequencing and CPM schedules.
- Prepares quantity takeoffs and pricing of scope either through self-perform production-based estimate, unit price estimating, and/or subcontractor/supplier quoting.
- Reviews and understands all bid documents and material requirements to assess constructability and product material requirements.
- Prepares bid packages for subcontractor solicitation.
- Assists Project Managers with the analysis of bids and supplier quotes.
- Assists with preconstruction activities including value engineering, project buydown, and turnover to Project Management team.
- During project execution, assists Project Manager with the evaluations of change order requests and time impact analyses and maintenance of the master CPM schedule.

Qualifications
- 2 - 5 Years experience
- Background in Plumbing, HVAC, Process Piping, & Site Work/Utilities
- Verified multi-discipline construction estimating and scheduling experience
- Able to work collaboratively with construction managers and other office staff to produce resource-loaded critical path method (CPM) schedules
- Experience using industry standard estimating and scheduling software packages, such as Procore, FastPIPE, FastDUCT, FastWRAP, Primavera P6 EPPM, and Project
- Microsoft Suite including Excel & Word
- Bluebeam & CAD
