Persons Services Corp. (PSC) is seeking a qualified Project Scheduler. This individual must be well-versed with Primavera P6. Responsibilities
- Leading planning and scheduling efforts while being proficient with Primavera 6.
- Understanding of construction logic and sequencing.
- Ability to create proposal schedules, field installation project schedules, shop fabrication master schedules, etc.
- Establish and maintain schedule baselines, communicating variances to the project team.
- Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), and implementation of its practices.
- Create and control a master manpower schedule.
- Monitor and control progress and completion deadlines.
- Solid understanding of the Critical Path Method (CPM), and able to perform analysis.
- Analytics of project data with Microsoft Excel.
- Routine progress reporting on the client level, as well as the company level.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or in a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant planning and scheduling experience.
- Experience in industrial construction projects is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Primavera 6. Additional experience with the Microsoft Project is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time management and organizational skills are required.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
