Wastewater Project Manager

Houston, TX

We are actively looking for an experienced Wastewater Project Manager to work full-time for our Infrastructure group. We are seeking someone who is career-minded, with high standards of quality, and dedicated to the continued growth of our Texas operations. The projects we pursue include the renovation and new construction of water and wastewater treatment plants, pumping stations, storage reservoirs / retention basins, water transmission facilities and waste-water conveyance systems. This position offers the potential for bonuses and growth based on performance and quality of work product.

Responsibilities

• Determines the appropriate products or services with clients or customers to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
• Develops, modifies, or provides input to project plans.
• Implements project plans to meet project objectives.
• Coordinates and integrates project activities.
• Manages, leads, or administers project resources.
• Monitors project activities and resources to mitigate risk; Takes a very proactive approach to foresee obstacles and has the ability to course correct.
• Implements or maintains quality control processes.
• Makes improvements, solves problems, or takes corrective action when problems arise.
• Participates in phase, milestone, and final project reviews.
• Identifies project documentation requirements or procedures that support the overall project.
• Develops, maintains, and monitors project budget and performance.
• Proactively plans ahead to ensure all project submittals are delivered on time and tracked accordingly.
• Makes sure all project reporting internal or external is maintained and correct.
• Must have complete understanding of project contract deliverables and requirements. Ensures all contractual requirements are fulfilled.

Qualifications

• ** Experience in wastewater construction is required.
• Highly organized with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have understanding of construction terms, scheduling, and planning concepts.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Must be Proactive in nature.
• Able to work in fast-paced, environment dealing with multiple team members.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Experience using Construction Management Software is required (Procore).
