Nurse (RN or LPN) - Psychedelic Ketamine

Perspective Wellness is Wisconsin's leading psychedelic therapy clinic. We are a socially innovative nonprofit 501(c)3 organization with a mission to make safe, legal psychedelic therapies accessible and affordable.

We now seek a Nurse (RN, LPN) to join our psychedelic ketamine assisted therapy team. If you are interested in becoming part of an organization on the cutting edge of psychedelic medicine in the State of Wisconsin, this opportunity is for you.

Your job will be to:

• Provide psychedelic ketamine facilitation - preparation, journey session, and integration - with a diverse array of clients
• Completion of encounter notes
• Writing client journey notes and integration plans
• Take client blood pressure and vitals before journey sessions
• Administer intramuscular ketamine injections as required
• Participate in all aspects of ongoing protocol development and implementation, including expanded access plans
• Regularly collaborate with the medical and psychological support team

We will provide you with dedicated support and training, including:

• Comprehensive didactic and clinical training in psychedelic ketamine facilitation, resulting in you receiving a certification in psychedelic ketamine facilitation (a $10,000 value).
• We provide an easy-to-use, customized EMR that simplifies documentation, as well as great communication and e-scheduling tools.

You will preferably have a demonstrated background and interest in:

• Behavioral health treatment
• Health and wellness coaching
• Holistic treatment for mental health (eg diet, exercise, wellness practices)
• Psychedelic medicine and/or ketamine therapy
• Trauma informed care
• Providing care with "unconditional positive regard", and a view that "kindness is the best medicine"
• Learning new things with curiosity and diligence

Our need right now:

• We are seeking to add members to our facilitation team - asap!
• After your training and certification as a Certified Ketamine Facilitator, you will set your availability and be able to accept and see clients at times that work for you.
• You must maintain current BLS certification or willing to obtain it before seeing clients unsupervised.
• Familiarity with drawing and administering intramuscular injections.
• We operate out of a wonderful nonprofit integrated health clinic located mid-MKE in a beautiful, brand new building, so the work environment is really great for this type of work. You should live relatively close to mid-MKE.
• We are looking for people who are self-starters and seeking to build a career and "practice" in the field of psychedelic medicine. The sky is the limit in terms of the opportunity presented!

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
