Perspectives Corporation is hiring immediately for Part-Time Direct Support Professionals in South County, RI.

Perspectives Corporation desires compassionate, creative, and flexible leaders who are interested in becoming Direct Support Professionals to make a positive impact on their community by working with people who have developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Positions are available in our Community-Based Programs, with daytime hours and some early evening availability preferred. Shifts typically fall between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Tuesday through Thursday.
The Direct Support Professional's role is assisting people in becoming active members of their community and in maintaining daily living skills.
We require a favorable criminal record check, a safe driving record and access to a personal & insured vehicle. High School Diploma/GED equivalent is required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Building and maintaining friendships and relationships
- Practice financial skills (budgeting and making purchases)
- Transporting individuals to work, appointments, and outings
- Promoting health & wellness (help making healthy choices and reminding individuals to take their medications)
- Exploring recreational activities that reflect the individual’s interests
