Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing support in a HIPAA regulated environment to the Information Technology Department by supporting users and technology equipment throughout the agency (locations range from North Smithfield to Westerly RI). Provides comprehensive and reliable assistance to all computer and network users under direct supervision. Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals; documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems; supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups; assisting with implementation of new systems, software and hardware. Minimal weekend coverage for critical system failures.
