Full Job Description
Responsibilities :
- Required to operate 26' and 28' straight trucks in a safe and professional manner at all times
- Delivers products to customers on time, while providing complete customer service
- Ensures route material is loaded and organized properly
- Transfers materials and items from truck to dock area or other designated area by hand, hand truck, manual pallet jack, or electric pallet jack
- Provides, completes and retains customer paperwork to include OS&D
- Serves as client representative communicating feedback to branch leadership
- Backhauls as required
- Maintains DOT logs daily and complies with all other DOT procedures / regulations
- Conducts Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections of truck and associated equipment in compliance with DOT regulation
- Maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment
