Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Control Panel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and instrumentation (E & I) systems, with experience in low voltage applications. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of control panels in an industrial setting. The Control Panel Technician will work closely with various teams to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize control systems.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, and maintain control panels according to specifications and engineering drawings.
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems to detect issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with field service teams to troubleshoot and resolve control system malfunctions in real-time.
- Utilize AutoCAD for creating and modifying electrical schematics as needed.
- Perform preventive maintenance on control panels and associated equipment to minimize downtime.
- Work with logic controllers, including programming and troubleshooting PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).
- Assist in the integration of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) systems into existing setups.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including service reports and maintenance logs.
Requirements
- Minium 3 yrs of experience in controls technician
- Mitsubishi PLC or Simens PLC Experiences MUST
- 1 year contract and potential to extend
