We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. This role is essential in providing effective pest management solutions to our clients, ensuring their environments are safe and pest-free. Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest issues.
- Apply appropriate pest control methods using power tools and hand tools to eliminate pests effectively.
- Maintain equipment and ensure all tools are in good working condition for optimal performance.
- Provide clients with recommendations for preventative measures and ongoing maintenance to avoid future infestations.
- Drive to various job sites safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Document services performed and maintain accurate records of treatments administered.
- Engage with clients to educate them on pest control practices and promote additional services when applicable.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in pest control or a related field such as lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with farm machinery and the operation of power tools is a plus.
- Strong driving record with a valid driver's license is required.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn about pest management techniques and stay updated on industry standards.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy equipment when necessary.
