Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Back of House Staff to join our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, providing high-quality meals to our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals according to established recipes and menu plans, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
• Assist in the culinary operations, including cooking, baking, and food assembly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Handle food items safely and efficiently, following proper food handling procedures.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes or improvements.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other culinary tools.
• Support the Dietary department by preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements when necessary.

Experience

• Previous experience in meal preparation or culinary roles is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
• Familiarity with food service operations, catering, or similar environments is a plus.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques are advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
