Job Overview:
As a Pet Waste Removal Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary outdoor spaces for residential and commercial clients. This is an independent, route-based role that requires reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent service.
Position Details:
- Starting Pay: $19/hour
- Part-Time: 20 hours per week
- Schedule Options: 8-hour or 4-hour shifts
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (flexible within this window)
- Occasional Saturdays (if Monday is a holiday)
- Performance Expectation: Clean a minimum of 3 homes per hour and aim to complete up to 30 homes in an 8-hour shift
Responsibilities:
- Travel to assigned residential and commercial properties using a company-provided vehicle.
- Follow GPS-guided routes to complete services efficiently and on schedule.
- Use company-provided tools and equipment to scoop, disinfect, and remove pet waste, ensuring a clean and sanitary outdoor space.
- Maintain professional communication with clients regarding service schedules and any specific requests.
- Interact respectfully and confidently with clients and their dogs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with dogs required (work experience, not just pet ownership).
- Comfortable working around large or vocal dogs
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- A clean driving record (required for insurance purposes)
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working outdoors in various weather conditions for the duration of your shift
- Must pass a background check
