Job Title: Overnight Dog Handler (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Pay: Starting at $18.00 - $20 per hour (based on experience)

Pet Care Plus is seeking dependable and dedicated Overnight Dog Handlers to join our team in the West Loop! Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional overnight care for dogs in our boarding facility.
- Monitor dog behavior and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the night.
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of kennels and play areas.
- Feed, medicate, and provide fresh water for all dogs based on individual needs.
- Maintain detailed records of dog activity, feeding, and behavior.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding pet health or behavior concerns.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience handling dogs in a dog boarding facility or veterinary facility. (We do not accept experience as dog walkers or private dog care providers.)
- Ability to safely handle dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and breeds.
- Strong understanding of canine behavior and body language.
- Comfortable working overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Shift Details:
- Overnight shifts: 9:45 PM – 6:15 AM
- Availability to work holidays and weekends is required.
