Pet Doctor is looking for an outgoing and personable Customer Service Representative to join our team and help create a warm and welcoming environment. The Customer Service Representative (CSR) serves a vital role as Pet Doctors primary point of contact which is essential to a positive and pleasant client experience, The first impression you make on the phone or in person will be a lasting one that will help build long and lasting relationships. We expect our clients to see and hear your amazing smile and positive attitude. Our potential candidates should be able to provide the following:
- Excellent customer service
- Greet clients with a smile and positive attitude
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Prioritize and manage proper appointment scheduling
- Screen clients for accurate appointment needs
- Input accurate appointment notes
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Manage emails, medical records, and document scanning
- Manage patient check in and check out
- Alert staff of client arrivals or delays in their arrival time
- Manage appointment wait times
- Maintain client and patient information within company software
- Answer multi line phones
- Handle payment transactions
- Escalate complex matters to senior staff
- Ensure cleanliness of the reception area and waiting room
- Love working with others
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 - 2 years of previous veterinary receptionist experience (preferred)
- Experience working with Avimark (preferred)
- Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence
- Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
- Able to multi-task and work with fellow team members
- Fast-paced small animal practice experience is a PLUS!
- Able to work full time including rotating Saturdays
