What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pet First Aid and CPR Instructor position at Pet Emergency Education, LLC?
Pet Emergency Education is looking for experienced animal care professionals with hands-on animal experience to join our team as instructors for our nationally recognized Canine and Feline CPR and First Aid Certification Classes. This role is ideal for those who love educating others, have a passion for animal care, and want the flexibility of part-time work with great earning potential!
As we expand our reach nationwide, we’re inviting skilled animal professionals to help us teach these important skills to pet owners and animal caregivers.
Ideal candidates will have:
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience working with animals in settings such as animal care facilities, pet-related businesses (grooming, training, dog daycare, pet sitting), or as a first responder with animal experience (e.g., K9 handlers, search and rescue). Personal pet ownership alone does not qualify.
Previous experience with teaching or public speaking and confidence in presenting to groups.
Classes are 3 hours in length, typically held once or twice monthly, with class sizes averaging 8-15 participants (minimum of 6). Instructors are compensated at a rate of $20 per participant and can also earn additional income through our online referral program.
