Position Summary:

As a Bather at Pet Evolution, you will be responsible for creating a positive and safe environment for both pets and their owners. You will assist with bathing, prepping pets for grooming, and providing excellent customer service, ensuring that each pet and customer has an exceptional experience. When needed you are expected to drive the Mobil Van to do the nail trims at customer location.

• Prior grooming or bathing experience is recommended.

• Customer Service: Engage with customers, ensure their satisfaction, and address concerns with patience and attention to detail.
• Detail Oriented: Follow specific instructions from customers and monitor pet behavior to ensure the safety of both the pet and yourself.
• Safety Ambassador: Be aware of basic animal behavior and body language to make informed decisions about the safety of grooming tasks.

Time Commitment:

• Full-time or part-time, with hours based on business needs.
• Overtime may be required.
• No time off is permitted during the two weeks preceding Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Regularly lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
• Bending, leaning, and crouching as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create a safe, clean, and fun work environment.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all clients.
• Care for pets with compassion and respect.
• Manage time effectively to meet grooming schedules.
• Engage with customers to determine their grooming needs.
• Maintain accurate customer records and notes regarding grooming preferences.
• Answer phones and schedule grooming appointments.
• Clean the facility and maintain grooming equipment.
• Assist with bathing and prepping pets for grooming.
• Perform full-service bath and blow-dry packages.
• Ability to drive the Mobil Nail Trim Van around and handle pets independently for Nail Trim in Van
• Responsible for pick up and drop off of pets from customers home
• Drop food at customers home if they request for food delivery
• Assist walk-in clients with a la carte services.
• Help maintain cleanliness during and after grooming sessions.

Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
