What We’re Looking For:

Passion for animals and ensuring their safety and comfort
Outgoing, friendly, and strong customer service skills
Attention to detail when following grooming instructions
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Comfortable with physical tasks (lifting and carrying pets up to 60 pounds)
Willingness to learn and grow in the pet care industry

Your Responsibilities as a Pet Bather:

• Create a calm and positive bathing experience for pets
• Bathe and prep pets before grooming (if needed)
• Provide full-service baths, clean-up packages, and blow-dry services
• Check for skin conditions, parasites, or irregularities and report concerns to groomers
• Trim nails, clean ears, and brush teeth as part of the bathing package
• Engage with pet parents to understand their pets’ needs
• Recommend add-on services and educate clients on pet care
• Assist groomers by keeping the grooming area clean and organized
• Provide exceptional customer service to ensure every pet parent leaves happy
• Answer phones and schedule grooming appointments when needed
• Follow all safety guidelines to ensure pets and team members are protected

Training & Development

• All bathers will complete a 24-30 hour in-store training program with a manager to ensure they meet our service standards
• Ongoing advanced pet care training courses to enhance skills and knowledge
• Hands-on mentorship and continuous support from experienced groomers and staff

Additional Details:

• Part-Time Role – Schedule will be based on store needs
• No time off permitted in the two weeks preceding Thanksgiving & Christmas
