Compensation: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5:00pm Hybrid schedule 3 days in office after completion of initial training.
The Transportation Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing effective transportation support within the Transportation teams at HQ and the DCs.
What you will do:
- Manage and coordinate administrative related tasks including collaboration with Transportation HQ team, Accounts Payable and DC Transportation Teams on a regular basis.
- Update & maintain Trans Systems (ex: Omnitracs, Globaltranz, Verizon, BestPass)- As a backup when needed.
- Assist and update Transportation Reporting & tracking- Data entry
- Assist the Transportation Compliance Specialist & Logistics Specialist when needed which includes invoice data entry, invoice reconciliation, 3rd party invoices & claims, tracking emails and all other duties deemed necessary for the support of the Transportation HQ teams.
- Backup for AIC Transportation Accidents/Incidents
- Provide updated agendas and notes for all Trans meetings
- Provide Trans Safety support when needed
- 1 year of administrative experience in an office environment, proficiency in Infor and Google
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive approach to problem solving to include excellent initiative and an investigatory resourceful spirit
