As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and appearance of pets while maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. Your expertise in pet grooming will help enhance the overall experience for both pets and their owners.

Duties

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling pets according to breed standards and client preferences.
• Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any potential health issues or concerns.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming options, care tips, and any observed issues during grooming sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
• Handle animals with care and compassion, ensuring their comfort throughout the grooming process.
• Collaborate with team members to promote a positive work environment and share best practices in animal care.

Experience

• Experience in Dog grooming required
• Familiarity with animal handling techniques and knowledge of various breeds is required.
• Experience in related fields such as veterinary technician, dog training, or animal care will be considered an asset.
• Knowledge of skin issues and holistic healing is a huge
