As a Pet Bather, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing and grooming services to pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the process. This role is essential in maintaining the health and hygiene of our furry clients.
Duties
- Bathe and dry pets according to established grooming standards.
- Brush and comb fur to remove tangles and mats.
- Inspect pets for any signs of skin issues, parasites, or other health concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bathing area and grooming tools.
- Assist in handling pets during grooming sessions, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets’ needs.
- Follow all safety protocols for animal handling and restraint.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth workflow.
Experience
- Previous experience in animal care, pet grooming, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Skills in animal handling, dog training, or pet sitting are advantageous.
- Familiarity with equine care or kennel operations is a plus.
- A strong understanding of animal restraint techniques is beneficial.
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their welfare is essential.
