Description
Pet's Favorite is an independently owned Fear Free certified dog and cat general practice in Spartanburg, SC. We have a full hospital in Boiling Springs and a boarding/doggie daycare that offers wellness care in downtown.
Our team is tight knit and works well together and we all work to uphold our strict "no gossip" policy. We offer the gold standard for all pets and owners but also work along the spectrum of care.
About You:
- Enjoys working with new pet owners and their first puppy as well as working up more complicated cases and performing surgery.
- You have a life OUTSIDE of vet med. We take our time off seriously as well as we do our work.
- You are comfortable giving and receiving kind candor when discussing cases, clinical changes, and other
- You practice high-quality, evidence-based medicine and are still comfortable working with restricted budgets of pet owners when needed.
Not Required, But Extras that Would be Nice About You
- Special interest in ultrasound, dentistry and/or orthopedic surgery
- Interest in clinic ownership
- Fan of folk/Americana music. I'm trying to figure out a way to make a doctor's meeting at Tyler Childers or Jason Isbell work.
Position Requirements:
- DVM currently eligible to work in the USA
- Able to obtain DEA license
- Able to obtain a veterinary license and controlled drug license in SC
- Fear Free Certified or willing to become so
