Reports to: Residential Area Manager
Description: FULL-TIME Residential Growth Technicians (Monday - Friday, some weekends in Winter if catching up on routes due to snow).
Pet Scoop has been the largest pet waste management service in Colorado, since 1994 and we are looking for excellent independent, service-oriented people to join our team! Our Residential Technicians remove pet waste from people's yards. This is a job with no cubicle and no one looking over your shoulder all day. This position is located in the Colorado Springs area and will require daily field work, including some flier distribution. Must love dogs!
Core Responsibilities:
- Must like to be around dogs and able to go in yards with some dogs that may be "barky" (if you are afraid of dogs, please do not apply)

Safety
- Help to maintain Safety and Continuous Field Training requirements, follow all safety policies
- Doing everything possible to safely service each property without damaging property
- Following safe driving procedures and obeying Colorado driver’s laws
- Properly sanitizing your equipment between houses
- Properly disposing of your collected solid waste and used sanitizer wastewater
Service
- Servicing all scheduled clients every day in a reliable, professional, caring and efficient manner
- Communicate with clients regarding the needs of their yard and in accordance with their documented preferences and our company policies
- Wear the required uniform
- Displaying required vehicle signage on your vehicle while maintaining a clean vehicle
- Perform re-cleans, one time, and initial cleanups when necessary
- Communicate with clients on issues and resolve to client’s satisfaction whenever possible
- Canvasing and Marketing responsibilities will be required in this area to promote growth
Efficiency
- Clean each residence in an efficient manner without sacrificing Safety or Service
- Keep track of your schedules, supplies, and client info. and updating your job notes as necessary
- Communicate with your Area Manager on a daily basis
- Work every day that you are scheduled at the approximate time you are expected to start per our policies
Miscellaneous
- Help to maintain a clean and orderly shop area and wash station area
- Help to maintain a clean outside area around the building and dumpsters
- Assure effective and efficient use of company equipment, materials and facilities
- Help to establish, maintain and guard our company culture and values
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:
- Problem solving, resourcefulness

- Able to use technology – Operate CRM system, Microsoft products, GPS Navigation
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 21 years old
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to grip tools repetitively in both hands
- Must be able to walk 8-12 miles per day on uneven terrain
- Must be able to visually see waste on properties
- Must have valid driver’s license and a good motor vehicle history
- Must have a cellular phone that is capable of downloading apps
- Must be able to work outdoors in all seasons, including occasional extreme weather
- Must agree to a pre-employment background check and drug screen (excluding marijuana)
- Requires occasional travel to main office in Denver, CO
Compensation:
- $20-$24 per hour, starts at $20 – performance incentives to increase hourly rate after first 6 months depending on your own efficiency and quality!
