We’re seeking an Associate Shift Supervisor who is enthusiastic about providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming experience for our neighbors and their pets. This is a part-time role, primarily during evenings and weekends, with opportunities to develop your retail and supervisory skills. Discounts on pet products for your furry family members. What You’ll Do : Provide outstanding service by engaging with neighbors and helping them find the best solutions for their pets. Lead your team during shifts by assigning tasks, ensuring the completion of opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a smooth workflow. Resolve customer concerns professionally and communicate outcomes with the Store Team Leader. Build your product knowledge to answer pet-related questions confidently and stay current with new product introductions. Perform back-office tasks such as creating signs, updating price changes, and generating reports. Participate in staff onboarding and development. What We’re Looking For : Experience : 2 years of retail experience, preferably with leadership responsibilities. Passion : Genuine enthusiasm for pets and an interest in pet care and nutrition. Skills : Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility : Available for at least two weeknight shifts (4 PM–9 PM) and one full 8-hour weekend shift, with additional daytime availability a plus. Physical Capability : Comfortable caring for and handling small animals and reptiles. Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and climb ladders. Professionalism : Must be 18 years or older, pass a background check, and complete a drug screening. What Sets You Apart : A positive attitude and ability to inspire team members.
