The Pet Supplies Plus Payroll team is seeking an HR Data Coordinator ideally with UltiPro/UKG Pro experience, who can provide a high-level of customer service and support to our organization by processing HR master data employee changes such as new hires, promotions, data changes, and separations. This role reports to the Payroll Manager and works closely with the payroll, HR and store/field teams. The role processes a high volume of new hires daily, as well as regular employee changes throughout each week.
The HR Coordinator key responsibilities include:
- Processing new/rehires daily in UKG Pro, including tax record & tax set up, Time & Attendance system set up, communication to new hire/leader, and onboarding paperwork filing.
- Reviewing & approving employee changes such as promotions, location changes, separations, and mass changes.
- Preparing responses to employee record requests including employment verifications and state required reporting.
- Ensuring superior service to employees with questions. Understanding employee/user pain points to recommend and support systems functionality improvement and education.
- Employee filing in UKG Document Management.
- Maintaining employee confidence and protecting operations by keeping information confidential.
- Serving as back-up for onboarding including I-9 completion/compliance and UKG Pro system overview.
- Executing data auditing based on defined controls.
- Participating in SOX and other internal audits.
- Assisting with documentation updates including internal and field-based Standard Operating Procedures.
- Partner on organizational reporting projects impacting employee data/records and HR systems.
PAWsome HR Coordinator candidates will have:
- High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in HR, Systems, Business or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 1 years of data entry experience; preferably with employee/HR data.
- Experience with UltiPro/UKG Pro a plus.
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create reports, documents, and spreadsheets in Word & Excel.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to convey clear and concise responses to inquiries.
- Strong organization & time management skills including the ability to manage workload with efficiency.
- Adaptability to change and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
