Team Member (Cashier, Animal Care, and Stocker): Part-time
At Pet Supplies Plus, we are crazy for pets. We are looking for a team member who has a passion for animals. We believe each Team Member contributes to the success and growth of our company. Our Team Leaders are just as passionate about their teams as they are about animals. We strive in having a positive working environment so we can have a positive impact on our neighbors (customers). We offer a variety of shifts and days throughout the week so we can be an excellent fit with your schedule. No experience is needed as on-the-job training will be provided.
Key Duties Include
- You have an essential role in creating excellent customer service for our neighbors
- Have fun in the checkout lane while maintaining accuracy with cash handling
- Enjoy assisting our neighbors and creating memorable connections
- You are the temporary family for our animals until they find their new home.
- Get to help with our animals’ needs including feeding, socializing, and cleaning
- Have fun presenting our live animals and care information to our neighbors
- You play an important role with merchandising as you will help display and stock merchandise
- Be creative with finding solutions for pet parents’ needs
- Assist them with locating products for their pets
- Partner with an exciting team to complete daily operations
- Help grow our organization by sharing your ideas, solutions, and suggestions.
- Everybody’s ideas are equally respected as we encourage creative thinking.
Requirements
- Love of Pets is a must
- Thrive in a positive, team-focused work environment.
- Enjoy constantly changing fast-paced environments as no day will be exactly like another.
- Be self-motivated and reliable as often you'll be working independently once trained.
- Preferred: valid driver's license due to driving the company car for deliveries.
