We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Store Team Leader to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service at our retail location. Duties
- Lead and motivate the store team to achieve sales goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
- Manage daily operations including stock management, payroll processing, and cash register oversight.
- Ensure the store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the customer experience.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members in customer service techniques and operational procedures.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Collaborate with upper management to implement promotional strategies and optimize store performance.
- Utilize POS systems for transactions and inventory tracking while ensuring accuracy in all financial dealings.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers; multilingual skills are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
Experience
- 2 years experience as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory role within retail.
- Strong background in customer service with proven ability to negotiate effectively.
- Proficient in math skills for handling transactions and payroll calculations.
- Familiarity with stock management processes and inventory control systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for team leadership.
- Experience operating cash registers and POS systems.
- Ability to operate all equipment including a forklift
- Be able to climb ladders, bend, kneel, lift up to 50 pounds
- be able to work flexible schedules, have reliable transportation, pass a drug test, and be at least 18 years of age.
