What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trailer/Yard Spotter position at Pet Supplies Plus?
- Safely operate a yard jockey or trailer switcher
- Repositioning trailers to and from and between dock doors
- Compliance of safety equipment usage and safety policies application
- Required reporting and yard management
- Supporting facilities and or operations group as directed
- Training back up operators and support other duties as needed
- 3-5 years’ operating Heavy Equipment/Tractor/Trailer or equivalent experience
- CDL Preferred
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
- Understands the importance of safety and operate equipment following our safety protocols
