Job Title: Civil/Structural Engineer
Location: Metairie, Louisiana
Position Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a skilled Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, you’ll ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and design structural systems to ensure safety and integrity.
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and specifications for construction projects.
- Conduct on-site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
- Work closely with architects, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Perform structural calculations and ensure compliance with all relevant codes.
- Use software tools such as AutoCAD and Revit to draft and design plans.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and standards.
- Strong experience in structural analysis and design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit 3D.
- Ability to draft and create detailed plans and technical drawings (preferred).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work across teams.
