PETALS is a floral events and retail business located in Brentwood, CA. We are professional, innovative and our goal is to provide elegant custom floral arrangements to our customers . We specialize in weddings, funerals and special events. We are seeking an experienced floral designer that can work in our Brentwood flower shop and assist with flower arrangement orders, and special events.

We’re looking for a hardworking Floral Designer to create and manage floral arrangements with our customers in mind. Floral Designer responsibilities include selecting appropriate materials, arranging flowers and advising customers on suitable products. In this role, you must be creative and possess the ability to think outside the box. A passion for all things floral is essential due to the nature of your work. We want to see a high level of customer service skills, as floral arrangements need to be personalised based on clients’ needs. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for performing several tasks, like advising customers about flower care and helping them to select complementary items. Ultimately, you should be able to provide an innovative and creative approach to customers at all times, respecting their wishes and expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Arrange floral displays/arrangements in accordance with clients' requirements.
- Create and design floral decorations, bouquets and baskets.
- Responsible for meeting the costumer's expectations and consulting with them to ensure their 100% satisfaction.
- Ensure that attention is paid to every detail and that products are of the highest quality.
- Check that all calculations are correct, per client's request.
- Stay up-to-date with latest trends in floristry.
- Arrange flower delivery to different locations or send online.
- Exchange information with other florists.
- Be available and willing to deliver flowers for scheduled events
- Have a valid California drivers license and be willing to go to San Francisco Flower Mart as needed.
- Clean Flower shop and Flower cooler.

Salary: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
