Bather/Front Desk Associate

We are seeking a PART-TIME Dog Bather & Front Desk Associate to join our team! This dual-role position requires someone who loves dogs, excels in customer service, and can manage both front desk and bathing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Bather Duties:

• Perform bathing services requested by customers, including bathing, drying, brush outs, flea treatments, nail clipping/filing, gland expression, dematting, and ear cleaning/ear hair removal as needed.
• Assist self-service wash guests with bathing and ensure the area is clean and prepped for the next guest.
• Maintain a clean work environment, including laundering towels throughout the day and performing deep cleaning at the end of the shift.
• Perform quality assurance checks prior to presenting pets to their pet parents.
• Safely handle dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, ensuring their safety and happiness.

Front Desk Duties:

• Answer phone calls and texts, set appointments, check in members and guests, and process payments.
• Greet members and guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Promote the Membership Program and re-engage inactive members.
• Keep management informed of member concerns while following policies, procedures, and direction.
• Accept constructive feedback positively and use it as a learning opportunity.
• Keep the front desk, lobby, and self-wash areas clean and sanitized.
• Prepare tubs and rooms for the next guest.

Candidates available to work at both petbar Fort Mill and petbar Indian Trail locations will have higher earning potential!

Requirements

• Must be able to work 2 Saturdays per month
• Minimum of 1 year pet industry experience
• Minimum of 1 year front desk experience

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
