Part-Time Assistant Manager – Hybrid Position

Location: Cleveland, OH & Surrounding Areas (Medina, Elyria, Lorain, Painesville, Northfield)
Job Type: Part-Time (15–30 hours per week)

Pay: $15/hour with a pay raise after 90 days
Bonus: $25–$50 new client referral bonus for each successfully onboarded client
Requirement: Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
Availability: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, with flexible evening and weekend availability

Petcare Deluxe LLC is a trusted and growing dog walking and pet sitting company serving Cleveland, OH, and surrounding areas. We provide customized pet care tailored to each pet’s needs, ensuring happy pets and satisfied clients. With a dedicated team of 14 pet care professionals, we’re expanding our leadership team to enhance training, improve client onboarding, and strengthen team support.

Position Overview – Hybrid Role

This is a hybrid position, meaning you will have the flexibility to complete some tasks remotely (client communications, scheduling, team coordination) while spending the majority of your time on the road onboarding clients, training employees, and providing backup coverage for visits when needed.

• Monday–Friday (9 AM–5 PM): During peak hours, the Assistant Manager will focus on shadowing and training employees, ensuring high-quality service, and stepping in as backup for visits if needed.
• Evenings & Weekends: This time will primarily be used for onboarding new clients, conducting meet-and-greets, and ensuring a seamless client experience.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working independently, staying organized, and being on the move.

What You’ll Do

Remote Tasks:

• New Client Onboarding Coordination – Schedule and confirm client consultations.
• Scheduling & Team Support – Assist with managing schedules, handling call-offs, and assigning visits.
• Client Communication – Respond to inquiries, provide updates, and ensure excellent customer service.
• Marketing Assistance – Help with occasional social media content and client promotions.

On-the-Road Responsibilities:

• Client Consultations – Meet with new clients in person, introduce them to our services, and assess their pet’s needs.
• Employee Training & Shadowing – Train new hires and accompany them on their first visits to ensure high service standards.
• Backup Coverage – Step in for dog walking and pet sitting visits as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Pet Care Experience – Prior experience in pet sitting, dog walking, or a vet tech role is a plus.
• Leadership & Training Skills – Comfortable managing a team, training employees, and handling scheduling.
• Reliable & Flexible – Must be available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM, with additional flexibility for evenings and weekends.
• Great with People & Pets – Excellent communication and customer service skills, plus a love for animals of all temperaments.
• Tech-Savvy – Comfortable using scheduling software (like Time to Pet) or willing to learn.
• Self-Motivated – Able to work independently and manage remote tasks efficiently.
• Reliable Vehicle Required – Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation for client visits.
