About the Role

We’re looking for a Director of Operations to support new and established veterinary hospitals partnered with PetCentric Health. This role ensures a smooth and successful onboarding experience, empowering clients for success, team training, and best practice implementation for care plan effectiveness. This role maintains a strong relationship with the veterinary hospital partnerships, supporting care plan growth, overall account management, and leveraging internal stakeholder support in key business functions for continued process improvement. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for improving veterinary operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Onboarding & Implementation : Guide new veterinary hospitals through the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition to the PetCentric Health partnership.
  • Project Management : Monitor onboarding timeline and deliverables, coordinating efforts with internal stakeholders and partners to ensure superior account management.
  • Training & Support : Provide client training and implementation support to hospital teams – in person client engagement and virtual -  to ensure hospital success.
  • Process Optimization : Identify opportunities to improve onboarding and operational efficiency and develop scalable resources. Healthcare based process improvement experience preferred.
  • Ongoing Engagement / Account Management : Lead as accountment management directly resource for partner hospitals, helping drive care plan adoption and retention success.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with business development, customer support, and technology teams to refine the customer experience, both veterinarians and pet parents.
  • Data Insights : Understand and utilize available data to recommend best practices that align with the veterinary hospital goals and strategic initiatives.
  • Travel : Available for internal and external meetings and business travel requirements up to ~25% of role.

What You Bring

  • Experience in customer onboarding, training, or operational support—preferably in the veterinary, healthcare, or SaaS industries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with veterinary teams and drive platform adoption.
  • Ability to manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and meet deadlines. Experienced project management skills preferred.
  • Ability to drive results utilizing data and effective influence by exuding an expert presence. A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a passion for improving processes.
  • Knowledge of key accounting and book keeping preferences preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
  • Ability to travel ~25% of role.
