About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Animal Care Professional to join our team at Petco. As a key member of our hospital staff, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to our patients and providing exceptional customer service to their owners.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide medical care and treatment to pets, including performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating diseases, and providing preventive care according to patient signalment, lifestyle, and environment.
In addition to your clinical duties, you will also be responsible for documenting all patient observations, findings of exams and diagnostics, treatments and medications, client interactions, and tentative and confirmed diagnoses in the medical record.
