We are seeking a skilled and compassionate veterinarian to join our team of medical professionals. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pets and their owners. You will be responsible for providing excellent patient care, performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating diseases, and providing preventive care according to patient signalment, lifestyle, and environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional patient care through thorough examinations, accurate diagnoses, and effective treatments
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient observations, findings, treatments, and medications
- Foster strong relationships with clients, communicating effectively about patient care and making recommendations as needed
Requirements:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from an accredited veterinary program
Active licensure as a veterinarian without contingencies in the state where the hospital is located
Current DEA license and Controlled Substance License (if applicable)
USDA Category I accreditation or completion within two months of hire date
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of medical professionals
