Position: Account Clerk
Job Description: PetData is seeking a full-time Account Clerk. An Account Clerk performs administrative and customer service tasks for the Account Management Department. Account Managers build client relationships and provide support to PetData’s clients nationwide, ensuring their needs are met. The Account Clerk position is 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, with the work to be performed onsite at PetData’s office.
Responsibilities: The Account Clerk will work on the following:
- Manage incoming records from veterinary clinics and prepare them for entry.
- Import batches of vaccination records.
- Track monthly reporting from veterinary clinics.
- Communicate with veterinary clinics.
- Update pet owner and pet records for requests received by Account Managers.
- Prepare refunds based on client procedures.
- Process replacement tags.
- Perform research and analysis.
- Perform other tasks as needed.
Skills/Qualifications: Highly detail-oriented, organized and efficient. Excellent time and task management skills and adherence to deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to build rapport with customers. Flexible with changing tasks and priorities. Prior computer experience with databases and word processing and spreadsheet software, including mail merge documents. Pleasant and patient demeanor. Typical backgrounds for an Account Clerk include prior Account Assistant or administrative support positions.
