Key Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Supervisor plays a vital role in the Supply Chain management team, ensuring accurate delivery, receipt, and storage of warehouse items. This includes maintaining standards of quality, health, safety, and freshness of all products.
This is a working supervisory position requiring hands-on performance of day-to-day tasks of the warehouse staff.
Key Tasks:
Team Management: Manage the overall organization of the warehouses and warehouse teams by briefing, supervising, and training members regularly.
Inventory Management: Ensure accurate real-time inventory of all finished goods and components.
System Maintenance: Maintain computerized warehouse and inventory control systems and ensure all warehouse equipment is kept in good working order.
Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and report all discrepancies, damages, and returns.
Cross-Training: Perform other duties and cross-training as assigned.
Pallet List Creation: Manage the creation of an effective nest run pallet list that integrates proper inventory management with daily quality and production requirements.
Quality Assurance: Report all issues or non-conformances related to quality assurance or food safety immediately to the Quality Assurance Manager or departmental supervisor/manager for communication with the Quality Assurance Manager.
Requirements:
Egg Processing Experience: Egg processing experience preferred but not required.
Warehouse Experience: 3 years related warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience required.
Supervisory Experience: 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate people.
