We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Farmers Insurance Customer Service Rep. to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our agents and ensuring the smooth operation of our office.
As a Farmers Insurance Customer Service Rep. you will be responsible for a wide range of customer service tasks, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, tracking reports to ensure deadlines are met, working with clients to obtain required documentation, and maintaining client relationships. You will work along side the account managers with various tasks to ensure they meet their goals and to help the office operate effectively.

Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls friendly and professionally, directing calls to appropriate staff members as needed
- Greet clients and visitors, ensuring they feel welcome and attended to
- Correspond with clients via email
- Work with clients to obtain required documentation by strict deadline
- Process certificates of insurance
- Send client friendly reminders on payments
- Help manage deadlines
- Assist with basic customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Maintain client records and update information as necessary
Requirements
- Property and Casualty license required within 60 days of start date.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service (office experience preferred)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to take direction from multiple people
- Reliable and able to be on time, every day.
