Press Brake Operator

*Overview*

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating press brake machinery and a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes. This role is essential for producing high-quality parts and components that meet our stringent specifications. The Press Brake Operator will work closely with other team members to ensure efficient production and adherence to safety standards.

*Duties*

- Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal according to specifications.

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents to determine the appropriate machining processes.

- Set up tooling and fixtures for various jobs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

- Perform routine maintenance on press brake equipment to ensure optimal performance.

- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production workflows.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.

*Requirements*

- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.

- Proficiency with hand tools and machining equipment.

- Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication processes, including stamping press operations.

- Experience with programming CNC machines is a plus.

- Ability to operate forklifts safely (certification preferred).

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Knowledge of tooling setup and maintenance practices is desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
