Summer Architectural Internship Program-2025

The Peter Marino Architect Summer Internship Program is open to applicants planning careers in architecture. You will join our New York City practice for a full time, paid internship.

The PMA summer internship program runs from June 2nd to August 8th. You must be available for the entire duration of the program. This is an in-person position. Compensation is $25/hourly.

Desired qualifications

· Current student in a bachelors or master’s program for architecture; you have completed your

fourth year of an undergraduate program or first year of a graduate program

· Returning to school in the Fall of 2025

· Strong design capabilities as demonstrated in portfolio or work samples

· Ability to work as part of a team and strong interpersonal skills

· Strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills

· Creative, artistic, motivated, curious

· Organized with positive attitude

· AutoCAD experience required

· 3-D modelling & rendering experience (Rhino, 3-DS Max, Sketch Up, and/or other modeling

software); Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; Bluebeam Revu (preferred)

· Hand sketching and physical modelling ability

What you will do:

· Receive hands-on learning and collaborate with designers, architects, directors, and managers

to plan, design, develop and gain real-world experience working with clients across a spectrum

of industries and locations

· Collaborate with and support design team in generating and developing design ideas

· Learn and work under the direction of studio staff to help develop and bring design ideas to

life

· Aid in the preparing of presentation materials, producing digital models, and production of

construction documents

· Source inspiration references, support preparing for client meetings and exposure to a broad

range of tasks that an architect will manage on a daily basis

· Deepen your fundamentals and skills working on a spectrum of PMA projects throughout the

internship

Timeline
