Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Parts Runner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting parts and between various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of equipment.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload parts from vehicles.
- Drive to designated locations to deliver parts in a timely manner.
- Utilize a pallet jack and forklift for moving heavy items when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and vendors.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Follow all safety protocols while operating vehicles and equipment.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a courier or delivery role preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of materials.
- Forklift certification is preferred but not required; training may be provided.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
