The Role
The Warehouse Clerk will safely sort, document, and manage all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.
What You'll Do
- Collecting merchandise from the warehouse and placing it in the appropriate area
- Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return.
- Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.
- Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the lead or manager
- Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
- Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.
- Assisting with training of newly employed workers.
- Ensure products are shipped to the right destination
What You'll Need
- Ability to work Mon-Fri from 11am-7:30pm (potential flex during peak season of 2pm-10:30pm).
- Positive work attitude
- Prior experience working in a warehouse / DC operation
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or HVAC parts helpful
- Knowledge of operating a forklift
- Knowledge of operating a parts cherry picker
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Experience of 0 to 2 years in a similar role
- Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work independently and safely at heights of up to 20 feet
- High school diploma or a GED
