Salary : $13.00 / hour
The Peters Township Public Library is seeking an individual for the position of Youth Services Summer Intern.
This position will :
Help plan and orchestrate summer reading programs and activities
Monitor the Youth Services reference desk
Assist patrons and families with reference questions
Shelve materials
Assist with marketing and social media for library events
Other activities as directed
Basic Requirements :
Applicants must be over 18
A background working with children is preferred
PA State Police criminal history check, PA Child Abuse clearances, FBI fingerprints
Candidates should be able to begin employment in May 2025 or earlier
Preference given to candidates with scheduling flexibility
Compensation and Scheduling :
13.00 per hour
20-22 hours per week
At least two evenings per week and one Saturday per month
Internship runs through August 2025
