JOB TITLE: ASSISTANT VARSITY FOOTBALL COACH
LOCATION: Petersburg High School
POSITION OPENING DATE: February 21, 2025
POSITION CLOSING DATE: June 30, 2025
Qualification
Demonstrates skills through personal participation or prior coaching experience in the sport assigned.
Skillful working with students and staff in an athletic environment.
Such other qualifications as deemed appropriate and acceptable by the School Board.
REPORT TO: School Principal/Athletic Director/Head Coach
Summary Of Responsibilities
To develop student athletes to their maximum potential, athletically and academically.
To demonstrate high ideals, good habits and attitudes and demand the same of the player.
To cooperate with the principal and athletic director in the planning, scheduling and the general conduct of activities assigned.
To inventory annually, all equipment, supplies and materials and submit shortages and needs to the athletic director prior to the conclusion of the school year.
To properly supervise student athletes under his/her immediate supervision and insure preventative measures are taken to prevent injuries, and swift and immediate care is given in case of injuries.
To keep abreast of all NCAA rules/regulations relative to visitations, recruitment and grades of student athletics.
To Perform Other Duties/responsibilities Deemed Necessary.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Seasonal Coaching
Contract Length - Seasonal
