We are currently looking for a Superintendent/Project Manager to join our amazing team here at Petersen Brothers Construction. Petersen Brothers Construction is expanding! We are looking for someone who will be responsible for overseeing projects ranging from $1 million to $10 million. The ideal candidate will be charged with building business relationships and expanding the company footprint in the Boise area. Further, this position will be in charge of the Boise office until further expansion is achieved.
The Primary Responsibilities of this Role are:
· Creating, publishing/communicating, administering, taking action to correct, and updating the Overall Owner’s CPM Project Schedule.
· Develop an internal management schedule which aims to accelerate milestones ahead of Prime Contract commitment dates. Supporting responsibilities should be delegated, provided they do not hinder the PM’s ownership. The PM’s direct supervision of project staff, coordination and governance of sub-tier agreements, and communications with our client and the project architect afford the PM the most influence to ensure production progress is compliant with the schedule/budget goals established for the project. The PM shall work with the supervisor and estimating to propose the Contract Delivery goals at the time the Prime Contract is drafted. The PM shall always work proactively in planning the project (4 weeks to 12 weeks ahead). PM may need to create, publish, and manage a written schedule recovery plan, should the project suffer a PBC-related delay.
· Facilitating the Client Application for Payments (OAP), Budget Management, and PBC Receivables
· Identifying, assessing impact, authoring, presenting and perfecting Owner PCOs to ACOs.
· Establishing predictable progress of construction activities (maintain schedule) and have an understanding of PBC’s entitled billings as they relate to the percentage of line item / overall project completeness.
· Sub Tier Scope Change Mitigation
· Conflict Resolution / Problem Solving – The PM is a problem solver focused upon resolving disputes or non-compliance issues that disrupt the production of the project. Disputes may arise from Subcontractors, Suppliers, Client, Architect, Inspectors, or staff. Initiates and authors Formal Notices, secures PBC Contract Rep signature, and serves notices.
· Presides at Project Pre-Construction Meetings with Owner, Architect, Jurisdictional Authorities, and Utility. Responsible for ensuring all supporting meeting documents are professionally prepared, accurate, and complete

· Weekly Project Management Report. Coordinate and communicate all the critical reports to ensure all information is timely, complete, and accurate.
· Coordinating that all project documents are being created and stored in compliance with the Document Management Protocol. Audit the stored files within ProCore at the time of demobilization.
· The candidate should be able to provide leadership, management, and be the primary point of contact of communications for all for construction site-related activities, with emphasis upon site safety, quality assurance, scheduling, and budget management.
· Other Duties as Assigned
Working Conditions: Work in an office and field environment - Must be able to lift 25 pounds - Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines - Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other business machines.
