What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard and Warehouse Support Staff (Temporary) position at Peterson CAT?
Peterson Cat has a need for a Temporary Casual Help/Warehouse Worker at our Santa Rosa, CA location. The job is of limited duration and expected to last no longer than six (6) months.
SUMMARY
Responsible for general clean-up of the shop and yard. Assists parts, service, and sales departments as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Clean shop and yard as needed.
- Assist with set up and take down with special events.
- Assist in loading and unloading of trucks.
- Operate overhead cranes and other CAT equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Take care of environmental concerns including wash rack and soil remediation.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
- Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED, and good previous work record required.
- Experience in the safe operation of heavy and other miscellaneous equipment preferred.
- Experience operating a steam cleaning machine preferred.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical work preferred.
- Driver's license required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
- Ability to obtain lift truck certification.
